About Me

As a child, I watched superhero cartoons like Static Shock, Justice League, and Teen Titans. These led me to comic books, which I’ve been reading for fifteen years. I’m passionate about women’s representation, racial, and sexual orientation representation in comic books, science fiction, and media. This blog will look at comic books, nerd culture, science fiction, and television through an intersectional feminist slant. Speaker at Wizard World New Orleans 2014 Panel “Social Justice and Civil Liberties in Comics” and Wizard World Nola “Horrible Stereotypes in Comics” panel. Reviews of graphic novels, comic series, TV shows, movies, and fan works will be posted. Questions, comments, and the like can be sent to comicbookfemmefatale@gmail.com. If you would like me to speak at an event, please contact me through email.
